Wayside Plaza
Desco Development has completed a variety of infill development projects, including the transit-oriented Wayside Plaza at the Pleasant Hill BART station, a master-planned community on a site formerly occupied by low-density run-down cottages. Thanks in part to Wayside Plaza, the Pleasant Hill BART station has the highest concentration of multi-family housing within a quarter mile of any suburban transit hub in Northern California. The units, at a density of more than 50 units per acre, were fully leased within six months of completion.
